I have a flight to LA in March on a Saturday on VS7 in PE on a S fare. Does anybody know that apart from the 20k miles i would need to upgrade to a G fare (should the upgrade be available) what else i would need to fork out in financial terms?

Thanks[oo]

Nothing.

S class pays the higher rate of Air Passenger Tax (£40 instead of £20), so the only difference is the miles.

S is upgradable to G anyway, so no "upcharge" to switch it to the correct bucket as you're already in one.
