Hi all happy new year. Been checking the seat maps on our booking in May there's only 120 people on board and has been this way for weeks now, it's the on the vs16 on the way home June 14th, with such a empty 747 what's the likely hood of a plane change? We're a family of 7 sitting in row 80/79 upstairs in the bubble so hoping we don't get dumped of this flight
Depends. There are reports of even quieter flights that didn't have aircraft changes. Depends on the freight they are carrying and the inbound occupancy...
Stuff happens. We did get moved from 15 to 16 once and we had selected 6A and 6K up the front.
When we got moved I couldn't book the same seats on line even though they weren't allocated.
After a long phone call and pleading it was a special trip (which is was) they gave me the same seats on the new flight.
I wish you the best of luck.

More likely if it’s a quiet flight is they’ll close the bubble and move everyone downstairs.
But there’s still plenty of time. This is the busiest time of year for booking holidays. And seat maps are absolutely not an accurate guide to actual loadings - many, many people don’t select seats until check-in, particularly if they have to pay.

Also depends how you booked. Not everyone cares as much about where they sit!

I'd expect it to fill up, if it doesn't they'll close the bubble. Not much chance of a 333 or 332 to MCO.

Do they often close the bubble when not busy?
I remember flying premium in the bubble with only a few seats taken and they never closed it off.
I think it would only be done if there was a reason to do so, IE they were short crewed I think!

We flew to MCO a few years ago with only 92 passengers on board. We were in the bubble with another 20 or so passengers.

They only close the bubble if not enough crew
