Virgin reward + credit card

I have a Virgin Holidays trip booked in February and paid the balance of my trip on my Virgin Reward + credit card 2 months ago. I was expecting 2 x 1.5 points per £1 to post on my next credit card bill but they haven't. Only 1 x 1.5 points have posted and Virgin Holidays say the balance points won't post until after the trip. Has anyone else experienced this? It seems odd to me. Many thanks

Yes, the VS + V Hols bonus miles seem to take an extra month to post for some reason.

Just checked my statement as I spent £136.52 on car hire via V Hols online in early November which showed on my December card statement but with no bonus miles, however, the bonus miles (204.78 i.e. 136.52 x 1.5 as I have the Reward+ card) where just added to my January statement I received last week.

I did actually wonder what those bonus miles where from on my January statement but now it all makes sense!

At least it isn't just me. It does seem odd though especially as the old MBNA card posted the full amount straight away. It also gave you bonus miles on buying booster miles and on board shopping which the Virgin Reward doesn't do. I will just have to try and keep a track of it all. Thanks
