Hello there.

I have promised my Nephew he can go to Disney again next year. Pref from Manchester.

My question is or are.

Can I buy two adult PE tickets and upgrade to UCS plus a paid child UCS

If so on average how much is an upgradeable PE fare.

Also can I bag two reward UCS tickets and buy one Child UCS.

Or any other suggestions appreciated

Id also like to hi-jack this thread in an attempt to find the most cost effective way of taking a child in Upper

Planning a trip for the summer with the family, i was planning on buying Ls to upgrade for the adults but was unsure what to do with the sprog? I could do the same but wasnt sure if buying the ticket on miles would be better as i wont get any miles back from the child flight (unless i add sibling to my Family account?)

EGG - if it were me id be calling FC and requesting the price and availibility of S fares (or even L) around the time you want to go and upgrade those for the adults - more miles and tier points :)

When junior was a sprog[:0](under 12)we always paid cash as the tickets were generally reasonable. Now she is treated as an adult( and behaves much better than her parents:D) we usually pay for her ticket with miles and buy ours to earn miles and keep status.

Have been looking at MAN-MCO flights myself recently. The lowest upgradable S fares start around £797 Nov-Mar then rise to £952 mid season and £1150 at peak (Aug/School hols). For the corresponding times Z fares start at £1129 then £1351 up to £1529. The PE to UC upgrade will cost 40k miles, but you'll only get PE mileage and TP's so a cheap Z might work out better value. I think children under 12 pay around 75% of the adult fare. Also look out for MPM fares, we managed to find a good value child's MPM fare in UC last year.

Good luck!

Just to add to the questions already asked can one of you well informed chaps/ladys tell me the average price for PE (W or S) to be used with a companion ticket to LA or Vegas.
