:-D Congrats Rob, you're in charge of all the Points now!

Yes, always good to be put in my place every so often about how well known we actually are ....

I met a guy from Flight Global at the BA livery unveiling event on Monday and he had no idea what HFP was but was keen to tell me how much he liked Ben Schlappig. It's moments like this that really make you feel that all the hard work was worthwhile.

Otherwise known as Ben 'Benjamin Smith of AF-KLM is GOD and can do no wrong' Schlappig!

Rob I take it this is something to do with the revamp of the VS loyalty programmes rather than an early birthday present?

No, more exciting than that ....

I actually got a Plane Talk invite a week or so ago asking for my thoughts on some new names for the Upper Class suite.

Some possibilities included:

"Necker Suite"
"Posh Suite"
"Dream Suite"
"Atlantic Suite" (which I quite liked)

Plus a fifth I have forgotten.

I got the the same thing last week as well and also picked ‘Atlantic Suite’.

VS must have a short memory as the dream suite was the name of the old A333 Upper Class wasn’t it?

I got the same Plane Talk invite and thought the same thing. What an odd choice that would be.

Haha, my thoughts were the same re: Dream Suite.

I liked Atlantic Suite. My feedback was that it sounded like a classy hotel room, but it might clash with the airline, people would have to refer to it as the "Virgin Atlantic Atlantic Suite"...!

The other name was the "Retreat Suite" let's see if any of us wins the gift card :-)

IMHO they should have renamed the dream suite as the Disater Suite so many regular VS customers switched over to the dark side after that roll out.

It's nice to see the UNIQs communicating in 'plane site' (pun intended) as I always thought they had their own secret channel on V-flyer for UNIQs only (Don't worry, I'm just jealous)

I am on holiday but I know what you're going to see and it is an impressive set-up. As VS can't do short-haul test flights for crew training they decided to build a cabin instead.

Rhys Jones - who worked for Head for Points as an intern last Winter - is going in my place. Do say 'Hi' if you see a tall 22-year old wandering around!
