Hi lads n ladies.

Iam booked Nov 2nd to fly vs073 from man to mcoat 2.20pm, is this a new flight, always got on the vs075 before, what planes they going to use for this flight, it saysi have a suite onmy seat plan.

Man - MCO must be getting more popular.

Also when i go back to VH it says there is availability for UCS on my flight when I thought VH only got 2 seats to sell, and I booked 2 already.

EGG

I would imagine your be on a LGW/MAN B744. My guess is that VS will convert the last remaining LHR B744 with Odyssey (ie G-VXLG) to LGW/MAN config for the extra MAN flights next year, what with several new A346's arriving at LHR over the next 12 months. LGW flights will also be increasing (extra daily LAS flights,the new Jamaica service and the direct services to both Barbados and St Lucia rather than the hopper service they currectly run) so I would imagine LGW 744's will be in high demand next year. This is only my guess though.

As far as I'm aware VH still only get 2 seats in UCS allocated to them on all LGW/MAN VS flights.

Just telephoned them today and they say I have two upperclass seats both ways, but its still showing as seats available in upper for the return journey. They appear to show as bagged on the manage your flight seatmap too. Wonder if they have more "Z" allocation on the return prehaps.

I've just booked my parents on the VS73 from MAN on Nov 9th 2006 - 2 reward economy tickets. 4 of their friends have also bought economy fares on the same flight. The only slightly worrying thing is that there's no mention of the VS73/74 service anywhere in the VS online timetables and the VS73/74 service cannot be booked anywhere else other than on the VS web site so far. I also cannot see this flight on ExpertFlyer either yet. I'm guessing this is because the VS73/74 is a new service and VS haven't released seats or fares for sale to anyone else yet.

Their seat plan does indeed show an LGW/MAN config B744 - which is almost half full already in Y.

I am booked on VS073 out and VS076 back, its the coming back one that is still showing Upper Class availability on VH website.

My seat map for upper shows me at the front and two either side of the bar taken of blocked off on both flights.

This was my reply from VH Frequent Flyer;

I can confirm that your booking is in the upper class cabin (sometimes we do obtain addition allocation from Virgin Atlantic)

VS073 is an additional flight from Manchester to Orlando operating twice a week, Friday and Saturday

Only thing is my flight is booked for Thursday, lol.
