Hello all

I've read plenty on here about how poor the Upper Class Menu is at the moment..anyone got any idea when it will change? I'm off to MCO at the end of the month and I'm struggling to get excited about the prospect of suet and dry fish :D

Cheers

Don't forget though, the menu is only a part of the whole UC experience.

Thanks Tinkerbelle. Does that apply to the inbound also as I know that one changed in Nov 1st? We were in the IAD Clubhouse and I asked for a copy of the onboard menu. Thy gave me one and then came back with a different one, apologising and saying it had just changed

but is the steak really, well, Nice? hard to eat a nice steak with plastic cutlery, unless it's a nice filet....

ok, with that link, it DOES look nice! and the Peas do too!

Yummmmmm now want steak for dinner!

It may look good, but how does it cut, taste and chew?

In truth, the steak in the piccy looks a little too charred on the outside. How does the charring taste once the steak has come out of the microwave?

I will say nothing about the look of the peas and mash.

Trust me,the one thing CO can do well is cook a steak at 35k feet,it's a ribeye that tastes great.

of course the problem you run into with Steak is how to cook it to people's preferences.... some like it Black and Blue (burnt out cool in) some like it absolutely DEAD... no pink bits...
so its probably more of a challenge than we think to be able to make that work well.

My first ever UC faux pas, spot the monkey that took great delight in ordering the steak on my flight to MCO and completely forgetting that proper metal cutlery had been withdrawn two months earlier. Muppet.

Thanks,
Richard

It's bad enough having plastic cutlery in the CH as well... [8D]
