I am travelling upper class via London Heathrow; I’ll be with a travel companion who is flying in premium economy.

Would it be possible for them to check-in at the same time as me using the upper-class desk rather than queuing at the premium line? (I know premium has its own priority check-in, but still.)

Also, hypothetically, could I chaperone them through if we were to get a taxi to the upper-class wing/entrance? I know I am allowed to bring a guest into the clubhouse, so perhaps the same gesture applies to check-in.

Hi,

We used the upper class wing to check in, ourselves with upper class tickets and my son with premium ticket. We all had different booking references and it was no problem. Good luck

That’s great, thanks for sharing.

I’ve never used the upper class wing as I normally park at Purple Parking and get the free bus to the terminal and check in like everyone else.

Would you say it’s worth getting a taxi to use the wing?

Yes - way better than using standard check-in area downstairs even for Upper Class. It's much more relaxed much quicker too. Never usually more than one other person in front of you checking in (there are 2 check-in desks in the Wing).

Yes we taxied with our 2 friends who were PE to the uc wing in Jan, and guested them right through to the clubhouse, no issues

Just to say we flew out on vs155 2nd August getting to check in at around 1030 and it was chaos.

We received a text in the cab on the way to the airport asking us not to check in more than 4 hours before our flight and when we arrived they initially asked us to sit in the lobby for an hour....
