How long does a schedule change have to be a flight in the future (Dec-26) for Virgin to offer you an alternative flight without costs to change/rebook etc?

Had a 4HR 10Mins change on MCO-MAN and would have rather changed onto a MIA-LHR

Just check to see how much it will cost you to change online. Sometimes even after a minor schedule change, VS allow free changes online via manage your booking.

I had a schedule change on Saturday:

VS131 LHR-BGI on 15th Jan moved from 08:00 to 14:45 (6h45m later)
VS230 BGI-LHR on 21st Jan moved from 21:30 to 19:25 (2h05m earlier)

I called flying club straight away, and they move me to the newly earlier flight on the outbound, and onto the newly late flight on the inbound without charge or issue. I expected I might not get the change on the inbound flight as it was only a 2 hour difference by the agent confirmed I'd be reticketed onto the flights I wanted.
