Fast Track... What is it and can I use it..??!!

Flying out from Gatwick on 14th October for our first UC experience.. can't wait..!![^]

Can anyone please tell me what Fast track is...?? seen it mentioned before but not sure what it is, and whether I will be able to use it..[:I]

At the security checks in LGW, there is a special section (on the right hand side) which is only for people with fasttrack access (generally those travelling in biz class/upper class).

This section (usually) has shorter queues, meaning that you can get through the security checks quicker, to get that duty free shopping, or enjoy the benefits of the clubhouse

And after utilizing it both in and out of LHR last weekend I can tell you that it is a very fine benefit indeed. We do hear of lines being shorter on occasion in the non-Fast Track queues, but that wasn't true for me.

The other 'fast track' is the imigration fast track on arrival - a UC perk for non EU pax - not as fast as the EU line but a lot faster than the US imigration farce (and I have a visa!)

At 0745 last Thursday morning I was the sole person in the "non EU" Fast Track, which made me and my sleepy body quite happy.

Just show them your boarding pass.

Or make sure that they place the green Fast Track Sticker on your Boarding Card at Check In which they should do as a matter of course.
