I'm trying to book a couple of tickets for the parents with my miles for their aniversary. The only problem is that whereever i try and whenever (I know there's a lot better things to do on a Saturday night) all I keep getting are flights that you can purchase.

I've tried clicking the flights with miles icon but nothing is working. Is there just no seats anywhere or is the system not liking online redemeption?

Hi Ade,

When/where is a pretty critical point that you've missed in your question. If you can give us that, we might be able to help ;)

Is the site telling you there is no availability as you say

"I've tried clicking the flights with miles icon but nothing is working."

Thats says to me your clicked the flights with miles button and the site did not take you through to enter your dates etc.

Can you clarify a little more. Perhaps you can give some sample dates and someone else could check? I assume you have enough miles for 2 return flights?

HI Paul

I'm trying for any weekend in October to NY by any flight even with the CO codeshare but all it comes up with is a price after you select the route time and flights available.

I just punched in detail for LON/NYC/LON 6th Oct (Fri) to 8th Oct (Fri) and they are showing availability and it all went through OK for me. (I only checked economy)

If you don't have enough miles it resets you back to the revenue fare but you do have to enter the detail again and you get a message telling you that you do not have enough miles.

Sorry if the next bit sounds like I'm teaching you to suck eggs but you are logged into the account with the miles right? And you are selecting 'Flights for Miles' and none of the others? And you do have at least 80k miles for 2 x econ round trips?

Hi I tried that and it still keeps coming up with fares to pay for, think i'll just give the Au line a call.

Thanks for your help.

Thanks for your help.

When I wanted to book a reward flight I found it easier to call the Au line direct. Apart from the fact that I cannot book on-line I was finding that a dummy booking was yielding nothing yet when I called the Premier Team there was availability.

Just after Christmas I wanted to book into MCO and out of JFK in June and the greater problem was the availabilty of JFK seats (fortunately we were able to be flexible about that even when it came to changing MCO to JFK)

Last October we also tried for LHR-HKG-SYD return for July. Again the website was showing no availability but the only difficulty we had was the HKG-LHR sector when there was only one reward seat on the first date we wanted to travel.

The Premier Team are great and I would certainly advise calling them
