I met David seaman @ the LGW clubhouse and to be quite honest he wasn't that huge at all. I'm 5 9" and he was only about two inches taller than me and not that wide either. He is very muscley though but overall i thought he would be bigger than me and i ain't a rhino by any means. He was a nice man though and we watched and talked about golf in th CH

Well, before his "TV fame" - he was actually a pretty good footballer with Liverpool (full list of clubs: Sunderland, Liverpool, Newcastle United, Galatasaray, Southampton)...

Cheers

If you recall, when you were schooling me in the art of Clubhouse occupation, Martin Jarvis was present;);)

(Come to think of it you didn't recognise him[:I])

Yeah, I still have no idea who that is :D Not to mention that Christian Slater was supposedly in the LHR CH when me & Bluefish were flying out for Christmas 2004 - not that I recognised him either [:I]

A musician called john something or other - on a flight back from NYC in April 2004. Damn, I wish i could remember his surname! He was about 40, longish hair, dressed in black and looked vauguely familiar. Oh, and I tripped over his outstretched feet when iwent to the loo!

Not the clubhouse, but met the main man - Richard Branson somewhere over the Atlantic on VS029 in Summer 04. Managed to get ourselves upstairs in PE, he came round and said hello to everybody. Seemed a very nice man.

Also spoke over the Tannoy once we'd landed in Barbados, saying it was one of the smoothest landings he'd ever experienced (it was pretty good!!)

Cheers

I have run into several celebs over the years, but don't wish to name them. Instead I will give you a few clues and let you make your own mind up.
A husband and wife daytime TV team
A chat show 'comedian' and his raven haired wife
A singing coach and his singing coach wife

Shouldn't be too hard for you

As I've never been in the clubhouse, I can't really say much.

However, I will say this. I stood next to Mark Lamarr in the T3 departures cafe. He had the full breakfast, but no beans. This got me thinking, does he know something about the beans [?] - possibly not a good idea before a flight, so I refused the beans too. The couple behind me went beanless as well. [:?]

I had the pleasure (sense my sarcasm?) of doing some work in the Newark clubhouse and in came the entire Gotti family. In case any of you haven't seen the TV show, put it this way - there went my concentration.

Well as decker said our future submissions about celebs is moved to here from "it girl" topic.

So i shall elaborate (ever so slightly) about a certain "gardening expert" at Sou airport (no naming names i`m sure you can guess)

He threw a strop because we had to cxl a flight to ZRH or somewhere and he was jumping up and down with a red face shouting at me to put the flight back on (hardly my fault i aint no weather girl!) After listening to his abuse for at least 20 min i took him over to the tix desk for the girlies to have fun with him (really to re-book him on another flight)

He comes across on the tv as being really nice but he such an ****.

The nicest one is Norman Paice who i met at the Edi festival (remember guys?) He really was nice and i wish he stayed longer!

Well, as I've now read through all this and also been directed here from the 'IT girl' thread...

The very pleasant and polite actress I met on VS6 from Miami in January this year was Christina Ricci. I was actually in 2A, she was in the middle UC row, in 2D?, sat next to a very lucky VS staffer.

I think Peter Stringfellow and family were on another of my flights to Miami once too.

I wouldnt want to see or hear any 'celebrity' in any clubhouse, anywhere. Style over substance

Didn't meet on a flight but after leaving VS8 at LHR on Tuesday morning we walked past SteveO from Jackass as he was walking to his flight.

Think we were the only people to recognise him but the rye smile he gave us, we knew he knew who he was.
