Checking for upgrade flight availability

Morning all !

According to my calculations [}:)] I should have the required 40k miles to upgrade me and hubby to UC one way on VS300 11/3/06.

The miles won't actually be in my FC account until around the 18th Feb, when they transfer over from my FC CC.
Is there any way to tell online now if the UC seats are available for a miles upgrade ?
I know that UC seats are available to book generally, but assume that upgrade seats will be limited.
We have seats booked in PE 'S' class.

Make a "dummy" flight for miles booking on the VS site. If you CAN then it is available.

Yes, as Decker says, but remember you will not be able to proceed past the point that shows you which flights are available. This is enough for you to at least check availability

ok, have tried making a reward booking (assume that's what you meant) and its saying there is no availability [n]

Is this likely to change in the next few weeks, or have my chances of travelling UCS just disappeared into thin air ?

Oh well, at least we won't be in EC [:p]

I have got to say that they are unlikely to change, but not impossible. Keep looking is all I can say.
