Right - this is silly now. If you are still waiting for your membership pack then send me a PM with your membership number, along with when your current card expired and I will forward them onto the lady that handles this.

Well, I finally received my Au renewal pack yesterday. Only 10-12 weeks late, but at least I now have it.

So then. I am still new to all this but I am still waiting, 3 months, nearly 4, for anything. I have tried calling but gave up twice after being on hold for more than 30 mins, have emailed 3 times and been responded to once. The person said that my silver pack had been sent but i have had nothing.[:?] So she asked if I could respond telling her if it had or not, so i did telling her it hadn't. I got no reply after asking how long it would take for a new pack to be sent. My membership No. has been changed. I recommended 4 friends via the miles more friends scheme, they flew 3 weeks ago on valid tickets but no points credited.[n] Have sent an email asking if the change in membership No. would have affected this. NO RESPONSE.[V] I am starting to give up. Can anyone advise me of what to do next? should I just call and wait and wait for someone to answer? With the amount of trips my company have planned for me this year I should just scrape gold so don't want to give up on this but starting to feel like I am getting a bit obsessed here!![:$]

Has anyone actually received the Au membership packs yet........3 months down the line and I still havn't?

I've now passed this back to VS Customer Relations to deal with as Premier dont want to know.

Yes mine arrived early last week if I recall. Mitchja, sorry to hear your troubles with Premier - I'm sure one of the supervisors there can take up your issue. They are all V-Flyer aware shall we say!

Still not received mine. Even after Richard's intervention. Spoke to them yesterday as I noticed that my FC number has changed and nobody seems to know why. They say "the marketing people have been in there and changed it but we don't know why". They report that _another_ request for a card has been submitted and I should get it shortly but they said that last time and the time before that and the time before that.

Ho hum. Now I have to fly with an expired card with the wrong number on it!

Could be interesting to see where the miles turn up.... hmm redirection of the odd mile or two into a holding account. Wonder how far someone could get on that?

The account numbers are linked, they are not reused - so any miles sent to an old account will appear in your new account.

Response back from VS today:

.....However I have spoken with our Marketing Department who have advised that as the renewal packs are in the process of being revamped we are not able to send a new pack at present......


Still doesn't explain why I never received my original pack, which VS claim was sent to me in mid-December.

Indeed. The new account is operational online, is definitely mine and contains all my history, past miles, tier points etc. I'm not worried about that in the slightest. It does concern me that it was changed and nobody knows why, though.

The guy I spoke to in the Premier Team said it sometimes happens when there is a problem with the address details in the user profile. He acknolwedged that this doesn't seem to be the problem in my case as the address on the record is perfectly correct and my last statement (complete with new number and correct history) arrived a few days ago at the same address as they've always used.

Ho hum. I shall just continue running to the letterbox every morning hoping my shiny new card has arrived...!

Well that is what is supposed to happen in theory. Only we 'found' nearly 20k miles in Mrs B's account that was in use 3 numbers ago....

I've got about 3 people at VS watching out for my new pack which as Richard says are due anytime - to replace the pack which never did arrive after I re-newed last November - 5 months overdue is very poor IMHO [:(!]
