When I booked in a miles plus money fare, I didn't receive the tickets so i rang them, and it turns out they forgot to take my issue number when booking (I had booked by phone). Gave them the number and the tickets were issued immediately almost. Now I'm all set for sfo.

This is a problem that Virgin has been having for a long while. I simply do not understand as every other airline is able to send and more importantly I receive the e-mailed e-ticket.
Not getting an e-ticket is bad first mark for VS. See on arriving to JFK without an e-ticket I had to go the the ticketing desk to get an itinerary card to go past the security agent.
The real think that gets me is that VS charges my credit card without delay but cannot sent an e-ticket. Virgin, address this; NOW!

Oh they were able to find them just fine but because VS was unable to send the e-ticket, I had to stand in an additional line to get the e-ticket. Now it is not a big deal but:
I need an e-ticket that says the cost of travel for my expense report when workingFeels good to get and cannot get the e-ticket off the VS websiteHow hard can it be! Look bad for VS.
