Haven't seen this posted yet but for all non VH's, non Upper's and non Gold's the price is up to $10 per person.

Given how useless the service was in terms of customer service last time I attempted to use it, not really an issue.
Why anyone who is Au, or flying PE or UC would want to subject themsleves to it is beyond me.

Well as someone who is both Au and travels UC then I subject myself to this everytime I fly VS. I do agree the service isn't great but just to be able to get rid of cases early is a big bonus.

I get what you guys are saying, but Sarah and I had such a crap experience last time we used DTD Check-in. It was very obvious that they hardly ever got any UC passengers as the service didn't cater in any way for them. I'd rather leave the cases in the boot of the car for the day and then check-in normally at MCO.
Thanks,
Richard

I know what you mean Richard, not purple boarding cards for a start, then they don't seem to recognise your status either.

Richard - I know what you mean - they don't seem to recognise status, you seem to have to prompt them to receive invites etc, but the advantage of geting rid of your luggage just about outways that.
Alan - it's purple boarding passes now, cann't remember when but either March trip or June trip i received them.

But it is a bit of a struggle as I don't think that remote check-in is offered at any other location anyway. Correct me if I am wrong

Forgot about check-in, chill-out, didn't know about the offer in Hong Kong.

Yes, they can allocate exit rows at DTD check-in.
I just still don't get the attraction of the place unless you don't have a hire car or are travelling in Y.
Thanks,

I'm told that there is now a separate queue for UC and PE customers at DTD.

Richard, yes there is a separate line but to be honest it's still a free for all. When you get there, the security agents check your ticket/passport and will direct you to a separate line for UC/PE/AU. The problem is the line is directly next to the economy line and instead of having a dedicated desk you will just get called across to the next available desk. Unfortunately, sometimes (well, a lot of the time I've used DTD check-in), the economy passengers get upset at what looks like queue jumping and it can turn into a 'race' for the next available check-in agent. I have had a silver member, who had been directed to the economy line, get very shirty with me for being in the UC line (I was of course travelling UC) and told me he had priority over me. To cut a long story short I asked him why he was in the economy line if he had 'priority' over me and we ended up both edging forward to try to get to the next free agent, needless to say I 'won' the 'race' - the verbal tirade coming out of guy's mouth did at least provide some entertainment.

I use downtown Disney because every other time I have gone to MCO check in they try and bump me down a cabin.
I did notice last year there was a sign just at the end of the Upper line at MCO telling passengers the staff wouldn't take abuse, it was even on paper with pre printed upper class logo on, I thought it strange that it was only on the Upper line.
